Office apps and email are really neat tools that can help you achieve a lot of things and work with a wide range of documents. You can usually use Office apps on your desktop, but sometimes, it’s worth bringing your favorite office suite to your Windows Phone in case you need to work on the go. Here’s how.

Steps on how to set up Office apps on Windows Phone

Step 1: Sign in

First, you need to sign in to the Microsoft Store to download the apps. If this is your first time signing up, then you might need to create a new account.

Step 2: Subscribe to Office 365 (optional)

You will be asked whether you want to subscribe to Office 365 or not. Click on Maybe Later if you want to skip this step. Take note that a subscription to Office 365 brings you some extra features.

Step 3: Install your app

The apps will then be installed. Once the installation is completed, you can see them on your Start Screen. Now, tap on one of the apps, such as Word.

Step 4: Setup your account

Skip the introduction. The app will ask if you want to use your Microsoft account or your Office 365 account. Choose whichever suits you the most.

Step 5: Enjoy your app

You can enjoy the apps now! Click on Start using Word to begin. All files that have been saved to your account’s OneDrive are shown here.

Step 6: Add another account

You can add another account to by tapping on your name and choose Add Account. You’re good to go now!
