  2. In the search box, type "memory diagnostic."
  3. The Windows Memory Diagnostic will give you two options: 
    1. The recommended option is to "Restart your computer now and check for problems immediately." 
    2. The second option is to "Check for problems the next time you start your computer." This will let your computer do a scan before loading the Windows operating system.

Fix #5: Disable Automatic Paging

Disabling Automatic Paging can also help you fix Page Fault in Nonpaged Area error in Windows OS. 

To Disable Automatic Paging in Windows 10:

  1. Press Wins Key + E
  2. On the left pane, right-click on This PC
  3. Select Properties > Advanced System Settings > then select Performance Settings. 
  4. In the Performance setting Window, select the Advanced tab.
  5. Once in the tab, select Change > then uncheck the option for “Automatically Manage Paging File Size for All Drives.”
  6. Click OK and save the settings > then restart your computer.

Fix #6: Update Drivers

One of the things that may cause the Page Fault in Nonpaged Area error is a faulty or outdated device driver on your PC. If the drive is faulty or outdated, you can disable, update, or uninstall then reinstall it. To do this:

  1. Press Windows +R
  2. In the run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
  3. Locate drivers that have a yellow exclamation sign. 
  4. On each identofied drive, Right-click > then select Update Driver Software. You'll then follow the ons-screen instructions.
  5. If you're not able to update the faulty driver, disable or uninstall it. The driver will update on the next Windows Update.

Note: you should then proceed to update your Windows to get current driver versions. 

Fix #7: Check RAM (physically)

Most often, RAM is the main culprit in the event of a Page Fault in Nonpaged Area error. Usually, it occurs when the RAM has become defective. If your computer has multiple RAM chips installed and you may fix the issue by just removing the bad chip and leaving the rest in.
